Getting into shape

So I've been trying for a while now to get back into shape, but every time i start getting somewhere, something comes up that throws a spanner in the works.  Whether it's going to a party with lots of great food, going on holiday, going to weddings or other people's houses and having to eat what's provided rather than choosing what you eat, there's always something.  I know i can do it because I've done it before before i had Aurora, but I'm lacking motivation.  I need something to keep me on track, so I'm hoping documenting my journey will help and help me to be accountable. I need to get my BMI down and i want to have fun doing it. I want it to be a lifestyle change rather than a torturous diet where toy can't eat anything that actually tastes good.  It's so hard to be healthy when you really, genuinely don't like most healthy foods including most vegetables and fruits.  When i see people trying to be healthy and they post pictures of healthy foods with comments such as, 'doesn't this look amazing? And it's healthy too!' i think,  actually no it doesn't and that's how i can tell is healthy. Some salads are okay, but i don't do fruit salads, I've never come across one that i like the look of and had any desire to eat.  Some people actually consider it a dessert, not in my book. If I'm gonna get healthy, I've got to do it my way eating normal food that i actually like or I'll never sick to it.  Good luck me.
